We are proud to be a chef-owned, family-run Kansas City original restaurant. Our recipes have their origins in Estancia de los Lopez, Nayarit, the coastal section of western Mexico. With a combined 45 years of culinary expertise, the Barrera family have modernized these dishes, creating sophisticated, authentic Mexican flavors with only the freshest ingredients.
We take real pride in serving our guests authentic Mexican dishes made with the finest ingredients available. Our salsas are made fresh throughout the day to ensure maximum flavor, and our handmade tamales are prepared with fresh masa then wrapped in corn husks for the best taste and to retain moisture.
